Au Pair Test

S- au pair gives you the possibility to submit your chosen au pair to a psychometric test before her/his arrival. Our au pair trainer Mr. Dries Emmen has developed a special au pair test, the Dutch Psychometric Au Pair Test (DPAP-test). This test is made up of hundreds of assumptions. The au pair has to estimate them. On the basis of her/his answers, it is possible to get an insight into the personality of the au pair.

The test is related to the following aspects:

• take the initiative, to what extent is the au pair able to take her/his own initiative;
• Motivation, to what extent is the au pair motivated;
• Communication, does the au pair think that she can communicate with the family in a direct way;
• Self-confidence;
• Psycological stability;
• DPAP-test total score.

The DPAP-test is sent to the au pair only on your request. In this case the au pair has to thoroughly and truthfully fill it in. On the basis of her/his answers, an analysis is made related to the above mentioned characteristics of her/his personality.

The DPAP-test results can be taken in consideration and help you in your final decision on whether or not the chosen au pair will definitely come into your family.

The cost of this test is 35.00 euros.

Furthermore to optimize the integration of the au pair into your family, S- au pair offers you an au pair training During the course the au pair pedagogical approach is discussed with the au pair. Through this very extensive course, in which transfer of knowledge and role play are the key issues, the au pair gets an insight in her pedagogical approach and experiences how important this can be in her relation to the children and the host family. S- au pair will not charge you anything for this one day training as the cost is included in the au pair placement fees.
